VHI Transport Named National Broker of the Year Back

At their annual conference in Nashville last week, the National Association of Small Trucking Companies announced their coveted Broker of the Year recipient. For 2008, the winner of this national award was VHI Transport, a multi-dimensional transportation and logistics brokerage in Chester, VA. With nine divisions, VHI Transport provides every conceivable form of freight transport.

Only the top 5% of all freight brokerages across the country are invited to participate in the NASTC Best Broker Program. Each year, from this group, only one brokerage is selected as the NASTC Broker of the Year. It is a singular honor signifying the best of the best.

In accepting the award, VHI President Bruce Gee stated, “This honor is especially meaningful because it was awarded by the people we interact with on a daily basis. That's where the rubber hits the road to get 'er done.”

This is the second national honor received by VHI Transport in the last year. VHI Founder David Gee received the Heritage Award from the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), for his years of service in the leadership of the organization.
