VHI Expands to IMC Service Back

Continuing with its expansion of freight transportation and management service,VHI Transport has introduced a new Intermodal Division. Announcement was made by President Bruce Gee.Through the new operation, VHI provides seamless transport of freight from coast to coast, in the most cost effective ways, including railcar transport,container transport,drayage and over-the-road van support. VHI operates as an IMC with direct relationships with the railroads serving all 48 continental United States.

Director of Operations,Ty Royster, points out that the Intermodal Division adds capacity to the tens of thousands of trucks available through VHI Logistics and Dedicated Divisions."We can balance rates effectively for customers with the broad scope of services offered through the nine divisions of the firm."(See Division Listing below.)

The new division provides sophisticated electronic support systems to track, update and inform customers on the status of their freight, from pick-up time to delivery confirmation.
